The San Diego Performing Arts League is a non-profit organization formed by theater and performing arts groups in San Diego County to ensure that San Diego's performing arts scene remains strong and exciting. Our members include major organizations such as The Old Globe, San Diego Symphony, Broadway San Diego and the La Jolla Playhouse, but also smaller groups, such as the Point Loma Actors Theatre, Carlsbad Village Theatre and the Coronado School of the Arts. SDPAL provides support and advocacy for all the performing arts in San Diego County. One way SDPAL supports local performing arts groups is through our Arts Tix ticket service. Theatergoers who purchase their tickets through Arts Tix help the theaters fill seats that may otherwise go unsold. This is especially important to the many smaller intimate theater companies in our community. In addition, the Arts Tix service fees go to maintaining both the Arts Tix website and our downtown Arts Tix ticket booth at Horton Plaza, so that we can continue offering our services both to theatergoers and to our member organizations.
